Notes on Uploading Pictures

• Browser problems- The browser based file uploading scheme used to upload pictures is very convenient, but might not work on older browsers. If this is a problem for you and there is some reason for not getting a newer browser, you could try emailing me (craig@redtree.com) a picture and I will upload it for you. (last resort please).

• Type of picture - Although the conversion software at this end will take a shot at numerous types of picture files, it would probably be best if you stuck to JPEG and GIF files.
  
  
• Size - The conversion software will try and produce a small picture (43000 pixels or about 240x180) and a larger one (307000 pixels or about 640x480). Uploading a picture larger than the large size will waste some time on uploading and smaller pictures will not be scaled up. Thus the ideal size to upload is 640x480, but send what you have.
  
  
• How do I get extra pictures in the long description - You can use HTML code to include additional pictures in the long description, but they must point to pictures stored elsewhere on the web. Only a single picture per listing can be uploaded to this site.
